I have retained no journalism notes

Not retained are the massive stacks of notes I piled up during investigative reporting of government misdeeds. I regard even depth journalism as ephemeral and not something I wish to maintain focus on. After holding such notes in paper form for a few years, I give them the heave ho. The finished news reports should speak for themselves and should have good attribution.
